The primary focus for the Product Manager on our Emerging Verticals team will be to drive the consumer-facing booking experience. You will partner deeply with engineering to ship features that scale and grow this vertical.
Responsibilities
As the Product Manager for our Emerging Verticals team, you will be expected to:
- Own the Roadmap: Lead the product strategy and drive feature delivery on a predictable, high-quality cadence.
- Ship Impactful Improvements: Partner with engineering to deliver high-impact enhancements to the emerging verticals booking experience.
- Optimize via Data: Utilize data to identify key opportunities for conversion and engagement improvements.
- Experimentation: Run and analyze rigorous experiments to optimize the activities funnel.
- Innovate with AI: Prototype and validate product concepts using modern AI tools to stay ahead of market trends.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work seamlessly with design, data science, and engineering stakeholders to build a cohesive traveler experience.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience working in Product Management
- Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date:
- A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field)
- A Master's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products

Salary Information
The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean, VA: $164,800 - $188,100 for Manager, Product Management New York, NY: $179,700 - $205,100 for Manager, Product Management
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
