About the role

Summary

The Manager of the Project Management Office (PMO) – EMEA for the Stationary Metrology Division leads, develops and oversees the regional PMO to ensure successful delivery of customer projects, internal initiatives, and cross-functional programs.

The role ensures consistent project methodologies, governance, reporting, and execution excellence across the EMEA region. This position supports the Stationary Metrology business by ensuring disciplined, predictable project delivery related to CMM installations, upgrades, retrofits, and other stationary metrology service projects.

Job Responsibilities

  • Establishes and leads the EMEA PMO supporting the Stationary Metrology Division, defining standards, governance models, and project methodologies.
  • Oversees planning, execution, and delivery of customer projects including CMM installations, upgrades, and technical service programs.
  • Drives project reporting, dashboards, KPIs, and visibility for leadership across the stationary metrology service business.
  • Ensures strong project controls including scope, scheduling, risk management, and budget accuracy.
  • Coordinates project capacity, resource allocation, and workload balancing across EMEA.
  • Ensures all project data is accurately maintained within ServiceMax, ServiceCloud, CRM, and PM tools.
  • Collaborates closely with Applications, Field Service, Technical Support, Logistics, Sales, and Engineering teams.
  • Leads, supports, and develops PMO team members across the region, ensuring capability and consistency.
  • Improves project workflows, documentation, and delivery processes specific to stationary metrology service operations.
  • Ensures customers receive clear communication, predictable delivery timelines, and high-quality project outcomes.
  • Manages escalations and resolves complex project or delivery issues related to stationary metrology systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, project management, or relevant technical discipline.
  • 5+ years of project management experience, preferably within industrial technology or metrology.
  • Experience working with stationary metrology equipment (CMMs) strongly preferred.
  • 2+ years of leadership or team-management experience.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Strong analytical, planning, and project management abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex technical projects simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop a distributed team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and project management systems.
  • Experience working across multiple EMEA countries and cultures.

Physical Demands:

  • Frequently in a stationary position for long periods of time; occasional bending or kneeling.
  • Manual dexterity is required for keyboard use and operating office equipment.
  • May occasionally require site visits to customer facilities where stationary metrology equipment is installed. May require occasional regional travel.

Work Environment:

  • Primarily an office environment with periodic visits to customer sites or regional service centers. Office noise levels are considered low to moderate. Exposure to industrial environments when visiting customer facilities. Travel up to 10%.
