Your Role

As Manager Project Management & Product Ownership, you will take on a central leadership role within our digital agency. You will be responsible for both the successful implementation of demanding customer projects and the professional and disciplinary leadership of Project Managers and Product Owners.

You will ensure that projects are implemented efficiently, customer-orientated, and with high quality, while strategically developing the delivery organization.

Your Tasks

• Disciplinary and professional leadership and further development of a team of Project Managers and Product Owners
• Responsibility for the successful planning, steering, and implementation of complex software development projects
• Active participation in key projects as a Project Lead or Product Owner
• Ensuring project quality, budget adherence, and on-time delivery
• Building and developing project management and product ownership standards, methods, and best practices (e.g., agile frameworks)
• Close collaboration with clients at the decision-maker level and active stakeholder management
• Identification of upselling and cross-selling potentials in existing customer projects
• Resource planning and capacity management within the team
• Coaching and mentoring team members for continuous competence development
• Support with presales activities, offer preparation, and project calculation

Your Profile

• Several years of experience in project management and/or product ownership in the context of software development or digital projects
• Experience in leading teams, ideally in an agency or digital environment
• Sound knowledge of agile methods (Scrum, Kanban) as well as classic project management approaches
• Strong communication skills and a confident demeanor towards clients and internal stakeholders
• Strong entrepreneurial thinking and a sense of responsibility for budget, quality, and customer satisfaction
• Experience with complex IT and software architectures is an advantage
• Structured, solution-oriented, and proactive working style
• Very good German and English language skills
