Senior Test Analyst

Introduction

Our client is looking for a Senior Test Analyst that is proficient in both Manual and Automation to join their team on a 6 - month contract, with the possibility of being renewed.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases covering end-to-end financial workflows
• Perform manual and automated testing across liquidity management, account lifecycle events, and treasury funding processes
• Validate complex financial data flows, including balances, transactions, and market data across integrated systems
• Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and SMEs to clarify requirements and identify defects early
• Conduct integration, regression, and end-to-end testing across multiple upstream and downstream systems
• Support and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, including scenario preparation and defect triage
• Ensure all testing outputs meet regulatory, audit, and compliance standards
• Continuously improve testing processes, coverage, and controls across releases

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Proven experience as a Quality Engineer / Test Analyst within banking or financial services
• Experience in manual and automated testing (e.g., Selenium, API testing tools)
• Solid knowledge of data validation, SQL, and reconciliation processes
• Experience with integration testing across multiple systems
• Familiarity with UAT coordination and stakeholder engagement

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to Agile / Scrum environments
• Knowledge of test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, ALM)
• ISTQB certification or equivalent
