Join our team as a Manual QA Engineer, responsible for testing web applications in a dynamic environment. Based in Corner, VA, this contract position involves validating applications, creating test cases, and collaborating with an automation team. The role requires experience in functional testing and a basic understanding of automation and data validation technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Review requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Create, maintain, and execute test cases and test scenarios.
- Perform functional, regression, smoke, UI, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support sprint and release testing.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in manual QA testing for web applications.
- Understanding of SDLC, STLC, defect lifecycle, and QA best practices.
- Ability to write and execute basic data validation queries.
- Basic understanding of automation testing concepts and API testing.
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools.
