Join our team as a Manual QA Engineer, responsible for testing web applications in a dynamic environment. Based in Corner, VA, this contract position involves validating applications, creating test cases, and collaborating with an automation team. The role requires experience in functional testing and a basic understanding of automation and data validation technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Review requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Create, maintain, and execute test cases and test scenarios.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, UI, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support sprint and release testing.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in manual QA testing for web applications.
• Understanding of SDLC, STLC, defect lifecycle, and QA best practices.
• Ability to write and execute basic data validation queries.
• Basic understanding of automation testing concepts and API testing.
• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools.
