About the role
About
You will be the Manufacturing Engineer Sr (Level 3) for the PAC‑3 Munitions Acceleration team. Our team is responsible for the successful execution of a large ramp‑to‑rate effort with a heavy focus on supporting proposals, collaborating on make‑where decisions, and driving tooling from identifying the need to delivery and prove‑out.
Responsibilities
- Generate Tangible Item Lists (TILs) and labor estimates to enable make‑where and make‑split decisions
- Plan budgets and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) activities, and coordinate make‑site efforts
- Write Tooling Action Requests (TARs), develop tooling Statements of Work (SOWs), and manage priorities for design, fabrication, and prove‑out
- Consolidate complex tooling status data into actionable insight for leadership and USG customers
- Drive cross‑site and supplier collaboration to ensure timely delivery and successful verification of tooling
Requirements
Minimum Education
- Bachelor’s degree
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering
- Proficient in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Ability to travel domestic and/or international
- Experience supporting the design and fabrication of manufacturing tooling
- Ability to obtain a Secret Security clearance (U.S. citizenship required)
Desired Skills
- SAP application experience
- Windchill / MPM Link experience
- Experience driving the implementation of automated manufacturing processes
- Experience in design for manufacturing / design for automation
- Experience creating and/or interpreting Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Experience managing project cost / schedule
- Experience working with Government customers
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams/projects across multiple locations
- Competency in Computer Aided Design (CAD) software (PTC Creo preferred)
- Proven ability to improve cost, schedule, quality and/or safety
Security Clearance
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Requires a Secret clearance (company‑sponsored interim Secret clearance required to start)

Work Schedule & Location
- Schedule: 4 × 10‑hour days, 3 days off per week (part‑time remote telework possible)
- Location: Arlington, Virginia (designated Lockheed Martin facility)
