As a full-time Director, you will lead initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and establish strategic manufacturing engineering practices. You will play a pivotal role in aligning sourcing, engineering, and operations while managing multi-faceted teams to drive quality and efficiency. Your contributions will be key in maintaining New Flyer’s position as a zero-emission transit bus leader.

Responsibilities

• Direct teams in manufacturing across Canada and the U.S.
• Drive collaborative make / buy strategic initiatives
• Lead Lean transformations and operational excellence programs
• Manage facility-level strategic projects and initiatives
• Ensure compliance with various quality and safety standards

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent
• 10+ years in manufacturing leadership roles
• Strong experience in operational excellence and lean practices
• Proven track record in project management
• Proficiency in budgeting and financial oversight
