Pay Range for this position is: $70,000-$90,000 plus annual bonus, depending on experience.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Manufacturing Financial Analyst is responsible for analyzing financial performance, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and providing insights to improve cost efficiency and operational profitability within manufacturing operations. This role reports to the Director, Supply Chain and Operations FP&A, and partners closely with production, supply chain, and manufacturing leadership teams. This position is based out of our Seabrook, NJ location

Primary Responsibilities include:

  • Analyze manufacturing costs including labor, materials, and overhead
  • Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning
  • Monitor and report on variances (actual vs. budget/forecast), identifying key drivers and recommending corrective actions.
  • Partner with operations to evaluate production efficiency and KPIs
  • Assist in inventory analysis, including valuation and turnover
  • Support standard cost development and updates
  • Perform profitability analysis by product line, plant, or customer
  • Maintain and analyze standard costs, including labor, overhead, and material cost components
  • Evaluate manufacturing cost performance, including scrap, yield, absorption, and production variances
  • Partner with operations to evaluate production efficiency, capacity utilization, and cost-saving opportunities
  • Conduct financial modeling to support business decisions and capital expenditure (Capex) projects, including ROI, NPV, and payback analysis
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies
  • Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Minimum Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • 2–5+ years of experience in financial analysis, cost accounting, or manufacturing finance
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred

Additional Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of cost accounting and manufacturing processes
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, modeling)
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably QAD
  • Understanding of financial statements and variance analysis
  • Strong communication skills to translate financial data into business insights
  • Attention to detail and accuracy

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS

This position requires sufficient physical ability to work in a typical office setting, driving a motor vehicle

FREQUENT: sitting, upward and downward flexion of neck; fine finger dexterity and light to moderate finger pressure to include extended periods of keyboard and mouse use, side-to-side turning of neck, walking, standing, bending and stooping, pushing/pulling, twisting at waist, moderate wrist torque to twist equipment knobs and dials.

OCCASIONAL: squatting, kneeling, reach above and at shoulder height, moderate grasp to manipulate reference books and manuals; lifting objects weighing 20 – 35 lbs. from below waist to above shoulders and transporting distances up to 50 feet.

VISION: Ability to see in the normal visual range with or without correction.

HEARING: Ability to hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
