About the role

Drive manufacturing integration as a Methods Engineer at MHI Canada Aerospace. You will develop plans, tooling needs, and assembly processes in a structured environment from Monday to Friday.

In this critical role, you will report to the Manager of Product Definition. The position requires expertise in assembly sequence and manufacturing bills of materials. Your responsibilities include advising on cost and schedule improvements while interacting with engineering, quality, and production teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop manufacturing plans and tooling requirements
  • Estimate production flow-time and parts counts
  • Perform automation feasibility studies
  • Conduct design reviews and technical presentations
  • Provide technical assistance for production issues

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years in aerospace methods engineering
  • Proficient in 2D and 3D engineering drawings
  • Strong understanding of aircraft installation requirements
  • Excellent communication and engineering judgment
  • Authorized to work in Canada
