About the role

Reporting to the Manager of Product Definition, you will create integration concepts and determine the manufacturing bill of materials. The ideal candidate possesses at least three years of experience in aerospace methods engineering and is proficient in interpreting 2D drawings and 3D models, specifically related to Bombardier aerospace standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop manufacturing plans based on engineering concepts
  • Estimate assembly flow-time and parts count for proposals
  • Perform automation feasibility studies for production
  • Conduct design reviews and present manufacturing plans
  • Maintain methods instructions for major assemblies

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in aerospace methods engineering
  • Proficient in engineering drawings and models
  • Knowledge of aircraft systems and installation requirements
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Current work authorization for Canada is mandatory
