About the role
Overview
The Contract Recruiter is responsible for full-cycle recruiting support across Vayan Group operations, primarily focused on sourcing, screening, and delivering qualified candidates for manufacturing, quality, and operations roles.
This role plays a critical part in supporting business growth by ensuring timely placement of high-quality candidates aligned with customer and operational requirements.
Limited onboarding support may be required to assist with pre-employment coordination and candidate readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for assigned requisitions (intake → offer)
- Partner with hiring managers to build role scorecards and hiring criteria
- Source candidates using job boards, networking, and agency partnerships
- Screen applicants and present qualified candidates to hiring managers
- Coordinate and schedule interviews via Microsoft Teams or other platforms
- Facilitate post-interview debriefs and drive hiring decisions
- Extend offers through HRIS and track candidate acceptance
- Maintain accurate candidate records within Paycom or ATS
- Support background check and pre-employment process coordination
- Assist with onboarding logistics (start dates, communication, documentation readiness)
- Ensure hiring timelines and fill metrics are met
Skills
- Full-cycle recruiting experience (high-volume preferred)
- Strong candidate screening and evaluation skills
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously
- Effective communication with hiring managers and candidates
- Organization, follow-through, and sense of urgency
- Familiarity with manufacturing, automotive, or quality roles preferred
Technical Requirements
- Experience with HRIS/ATS systems (UKG preferred)
- Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Teams)
- Scheduling tools (Microsoft Bookings or similar)
- Job boards and sourcing platforms (Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.)
Experience
- 3+ years of recruiting experience required
- Experience recruiting for manufacturing, warehouse, or technical roles preferred
- Agency or high-volume recruiting experience is a plus
Education
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
- Equivalent recruiting experience accepted
Safety & Work Environment
- Fast-paced environment supporting multiple sites and priorities
- May involve coordination with field locations requiring PPE awareness
- Must be able to operate effectively in high-demand, deadline-driven situations
QMS & Compliance Awareness
