About the Role
Manufacturing Technical Writer responsible for creating and revising Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), training materials, and related documents. Ensures all documentation is delivered on time, follows established formats and templates, and complies with corporate, local, and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Create and revise SOPs, training documents, and related materials, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with corporate/local policies and regulatory commitments.
- Work with business functions and subject‑matter experts to participate in usability testing or compile revision comments for SOPs and training documents as required.
- Participate in and/or facilitate the review and approval process (including meetings) needed to revise, create, and route documents through approval in the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS).
- Anticipate and adjust for project or program issues, escalating as appropriate.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- 2+ years of technical writing and quality assurance experience.
- Proven experience in technical writing.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Work Environment & Conditions
- On‑site position at a manufacturing plant; 8‑hour days, Monday‑Friday.
- May be required to work outside standard hours.
- Must wear safety glasses and steel‑toe shoes.
- Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment and supporting all HSE corporate and site goals.
