The Manufacturing Technology Improvement Engineer role is based at our Parlin site in New Jersey, where we produce world‑class Cyrel® packaging printing plates. The engineer will support manufacturing operations to enhance our competitive edge by leading continuous improvement projects across various technological areas, driving efficiency and quality within our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive improvement initiatives for Cyrel® manufacturing processes, enhancing capabilities, reliability, and production efficiency.
  • Lead and participate in global project‑management improvement projects that transform our manufacturing landscape.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis for major process deviations, ensuring operations remain on track.
  • Provide technical guidance to process engineers for day‑to‑day operations and empower them to tackle challenges effectively.
  • Initiate mid‑ to long‑term capital projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and driving operational success.
  • Collaborate closely on new product and process development, contributing valuable manufacturing insights during project phases.
  • Lead the implementation of Process Safety Management (PSM) elements to ensure a safe and compliant manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (higher degrees a plus).
  • Over 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with a strong focus on process improvement.
  • Demonstrated leadership, project management, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, SharePoint, Salesforce, and process improvement tools (e.g., TrakSYS, IP21, LIMS, JMP, Minitab).
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification (preferred).
  • Lean or Continuous Improvement experience is a plus.
  • Prior experience leading teams is preferred.
  • Familiarity with SAP is an advantage.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay range: $87,010.00 – $136,730.00 Annual.
