Responsibilities

  • Execute functional testing of solar inverters, converters, and variable frequency drives including power drive modules and medium voltage AC/DC drives.
  • Develop and establish test procedures, ensuring compliance with IEC and UL standards.
  • Perform comprehensive testing such as insulation, Hi-Pot, I/O verification, and cooling system functionality.
  • Lead customer factory acceptance testing and participate in third‑party certification testing.
  • Create detailed test reports, track first pass yield data, and identify opportunities for process improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field from an accredited university or college.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in equipment testing within an electrical manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of electrical equipment manufacturing, quality processes, and testing standards.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to independently resolve technical issues.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
