- Develop new business opportunities in designated markets within the Hotel and Travel industry
- Create leads lists and reach out to potential clients through cold calling
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, providing training on the company's extranet and wholesale business, and reviewing production reports to offer feedback to top producing hotels
- Plan and execute market site visits in alignment with Regional Management objectives
- Negotiate contract agreements and credit arrangements with suppliers and ensure coordination between Market Management and suppliers
- Collaborate with internal and external partners on lodging development initiatives such as direct connect and corporate travel
- Communicate progress and changes in development to the lodging team
- Establish relationships with local tourism agencies/organizations
- Represent the company at supplier-related travel shows and industry events, conducting presentations, and hosting supplier presentations
- Identify competitors, analyze market trends, and implement extranet rate and inventory revisions to optimize supplier usage
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently, with high motivation and a proactive approach to achieving goals
