Role Overview

The Market Research Analyst will support the organisation by gathering, analysing, and interpreting market and industry data to provide insights on trends, opportunities, and potential risks. The role focuses on monitoring competitor activity, analysing customer behaviour, and identifying market shifts that may impact business strategy. The analyst will produce structured reports and insights to assist leadership in making informed commercial and strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research on market trends, industry developments, and emerging opportunities relevant to the business.
  • Monitor and analyse competitor activity, market positioning, and strategic movements.
  • Gather and interpret data on customer behaviour, preferences, and demand patterns.
  • Identify potential market opportunities, risks, and threats that could impact the organisation.
  • Prepare insight reports, market intelligence briefs, and presentations for management.
  • Track industry news, regulatory developments, and economic factors that may influence the market.
  • Support strategic planning by providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
  • Maintain and update market intelligence databases and research documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as sales, operations, and strategy to support business growth initiatives.

  • Experience working with market reports, research tools, or analytics platforms will be advantageous
