Key Responsibilities

• Regular reporting to the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) and coordination with the Head of Trading Desk
• Daily production and distribution of risk reports
• Monitoring and control of the VaR and exposure calculations, stress testing and scenario analysis, including regular backtesting of models
• A/B Book performance analysis and maintenance of Liquidity Provider performance scorecards
• Maintenance and development of risk systems, including data quality controls and parameter updates
• Regulatory reporting support
• Covering the 24/7/365 shifts to deal with risk related issues

Requirements

• Preferably with a degree in finance, risk management or a comparable qualification; if you are currently studying in one of the aforementioned fields, this is also acceptable provided you have sufficient time available
• Professional experience, in a risk management function at a bank, investment firm or crypto-asset provider, is an advantage
• Mathematical, statistical, data analysis and technical skills, including VaR-calculation and simulation methods
• Product knowledge and experience with financial instruments, especially derivatives and crypto-assets
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both German and English
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced, regulated, 24/7/365 operational environment
• This position is preferably based in Austria, Vienna
