About the role
Job Summary
The Marketing and Event Coordinator is responsible for supporting the planning and execution of marketing campaigns and coordinating events that promote the organization’s brand, products, and services. This role involves collaborating with the sales, and cross-functional teams to develop engaging content, manage promotional initiatives, and ensure seamless event logistics.
Duties And Responsibilities
Marketing Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and executing marketing campaigns (digital, social, email, and print)
- Create and schedule content for social media platforms
- Monitor campaign performance and prepare basic reports/analytics
- Coordinate with designers, vendors, and internal teams for marketing materials
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities
- Manage email marketing campaigns and contact lists
Event Coordination Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and execute events (conferences, trade shows, webinars, corporate events)
- Support Sales Team Leader and leadership with coordination and administrative processes, including internal and external communications
- Coordinate logistics such as venue booking, catering, travel, and equipment
- Liaise with vendors, sponsors, and partners
- Manage event budgets and track expenses
- Oversee event timelines and ensure deadlines are met
- Handle on-site event coordination and troubleshooting
Cross-Functional / Administrative Tasks
- Support Sales Team Leader and leadership with coordination and administrative processes, including internal and external communications
- Maintain event calendars and marketing schedules
- Support branding and promotional initiatives
- Ensure consistent messaging across all marketing channels
Required Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- 2 years’ minimum experience in marketing and event support
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and the ability to quickly adapt to new systems as needed
- Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable prioritizing tasks and working independently
