We’re Hiring: Sales & Marketing Lead

Wrapped CBDC Ltd (cNGN) | Hybrid | Abuja, Nigeria | Full-Time | Fintech / Blockchain

At Wrapped CBDC Ltd, we are building the future of money with cNGN — Nigeria’s first regulated, blockchain-native stablecoin pegged 1:1 to the Naira.

Operating at the intersection of traditional finance and Web3, cNGN enables seamless cross-border payments, DeFi access, and digital commerce for individuals and businesses across Africa and the diaspora.

We’re looking for a commercially driven, creatively bold Sales & Marketing Lead to own and grow the cNGN brand and revenue pipeline.

This is a senior individual-contributor role with team-building potential, ideal for someone ready to:

• Define go-to-market strategy

• Build strategic partnerships

• Lead demand generation

• Position cNGN as the go-to digital Naira for both retail and institutional audiences

You’ll work directly with the founding team, influence product positioning, and serve as the primary voice of cNGN in the market.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market strategy for cNGN across B2B and B2C

• Lead all digital and traditional marketing efforts: content, social, email, paid campaigns, events, and PR

• Drive merchant and partner acquisition, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to close

• Build and manage relationships with exchanges, wallets, fintechs, and financial institutions integrating cNGN

• Own revenue targets, pipeline metrics, and monthly leadership reporting

• Develop educational campaigns to drive adoption among both crypto-native and traditional finance audiences

• Collaborate with product and engineering to ensure market feedback shapes roadmap decisionsf

• Represent cNGN at industry events, panels, and media engagements

• Recruit, brief, and manage external agencies, contractors, and community managers as needed

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years in sales and/or marketing

• At least 2 years in fintech, payments, or blockchain

• Strong record of hitting commercial targets and building brand presence from early stage

• Deep understanding of Nigeria and Africa’s financial ecosystem, including mobile money, CBDC developments, and crypto adoption

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex fintech concepts

• Experience with digital marketing tools, CRM platforms, and data-driven campaign management

• Entrepreneurial mindset with comfort in ambiguity and fast-moving environments

• Existing network across Nigerian fintech, banking, or Web3 ecosystems is a strong advantage

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or related field (MBA is a plus)

Nice to Have

• Experience marketing stablecoins, DeFi products, or regulated digital assets

• Community-building experience on X (Twitter), Telegram, or Linkedin

• Fluency in Hausa, Yoruba, or Igbo

• Prior experience in an early-stage startup or growth-stage company
