Qualification & Experience

  • Degree in any field with MBA/ PG Diploma in Marketing Management.
  • Over 8 years of experience, including 3 years in similar positions in Alcoholic & CSD Beverage industry.
  • Nigerian experience essential.
  • Nigerian citizen, age between 30 to 45 years.

Function

Manage the marketing function of company independently covering the fast‑growing Alcoholic beverages and highly competitive Carbonated flavoured soft drinks space

Span of Control

  • Reports to Business Head with matrix reporting to the Sales Head

Role Objective

The role envisages creating visibility & increasing the value for the various brands of Alcoholic & Soft beverages produced by company in Nigeria & going forward in Ecowas countries. He is expected to set targets and plan marketing spend / budget. Implement the plan to partake as an active member of the company's team to take the company to Top 3 players within the next 2 years time span.

Principal Accountability

  • Be the custodian of the various brand equity & value proposition of various products in the company.
  • Ensure continuous value addition / innovation and market capitalisation in the Nigerian Beverages market
  • Closely monitor and conduct market study to benchmark against competition
  • Ensure that the marketing plan is conceived and corresponding marketing budget is proposed and approved.
  • Ensure the planned marketing budget is well spent.
