Marketing Business Analyst

Job Overview

Pay Range: $65hr - $70hr

Requirement/Must Have

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
• 5 years of experience (or 3 years with a Master’s degree).
• Strong experience in business analysis and process documentation.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC).
• Strong data analysis and segmentation skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Experience

• Experience in marketing automation and email campaign execution.
• Experience working with financial services or credit card marketing.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including developers, QA, and data engineers.
• Experience managing UAT and campaign testing processes.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document business and technical requirements for email marketing campaigns.
• Create detailed Technical Specification Documents (TSDs).
• Analyze data files and define segmentation logic and audience criteria.
• Design and document campaign workflows including data ingestion and suppression logic.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on campaign requirements.
• Interface with clients to clarify requirements and present documentation.
• Develop and execute test cases for campaign validation.
• Manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and email proofing processes.
• Create and manage data extensions within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Validate and manipulate data to ensure accuracy and integrity.
• Deploy campaigns for testing and final launch readiness.
• Develop audit plans and maintain documentation for compliance.

Should Have

• Strong understanding of CRM and marketing technology platforms.
• Knowledge of financial products and services.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language.
