In the context of a maternity leave, we are looking for passionate people ready to make a difference in the following open position**:Marketing Category Manager** based in Lyon (7e) and starting in April 2025.
This position contributes to the company's growth as the person is responsible for the complete marketing management of the assigned product range/portfolio.
The person will integrate the **Business Unit “Parenteral, Intimate Care, and Oral”,** which encompasses a broad range of products including pen injectors, syringes with safety systems, on-body injectors, oral dosers and vaginal applicators.
This position includes both **strategic marketing** and **operational marketing.**
**Job description**
1/ Support the implementation of the assigned product portfolio strategic plan:
- Perform market research to understand market trends, customer needs and competitor activities through the analysis of market databases, customer feedback, patient trends and epidemiology, competition information - Develop and implement the strategic plan for the category and product portfolio with the support of management, including sales forecasts, industrial capacity management and related investments. - Identify opportunities for developing innovations, product range extensions or associated services, in collaboration with the R&D and Marketing Services departments. - Build and maintain an internal and external network of key players and contacts for the category.
2/ Lead the development and market introduction of new products, and manage the product life cycle:
- Build and manage the roadmap of new opportunities for the category, in collaboration with the R&D team. - Draw up briefs for the development of new products, considering the needs of customers and patients, and build the associated business plans and cases in collaboration with the relevant stakeholders (e.g. quoting team, engineering,). - In collaboration with the R&D team, design and manage the development of new launches : project management, positioning, pricing strategy and industrial investment requirements. - Identify activities and projects related to the product lifecycle (product upgrades and modifications) and ensure that they are successfully implemented.
3/ Support sales development for the assigned category and increase awareness of Nemera’s market positioning within the assigned category:
- Define and communicate the positioning and value proposition of the product/range, the pricing policy and the associated sales arguments (benefits, added value, etc.). - Design the content and update the communication tools for the product portfolio in collaboration with the Communication team (promotional materials, website, articles, conferences, etc.). - Prepare and participate in trade fairs and conferences. - Identify target customers and support prospecting initiatives. - Provide the sales team with product and market expertise and associated training, and take part in key customer meetings.
**Qualifications** Qualifications** - BA or master’s degree in marketing, Life Sciences, Engineering or Business required. - Ideally 5 years of experience in B2B business and marketing in the Healthcare industry - Excellent level of English: day-to-day working language - Excellent knowledge of market analysis tools (databases such as IQVIA/Evaluate Pharma), and methods (CRM, Excel, Power Point, etc.) - Strong business acumen is required for this position: understanding commercial and strategic issues - Good knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry market - Technical affinity and technical interest/willingness to learn to allow solid communication with R&D, Engineering and plant teams - Managing and organising projects with multi-functional teams: coordination, planning, chairing meetings
