About the role

Responsibilities

  • Support and implement marketing and communications strategy in line with wider University and College strategic plans.
  • Develop and deliver campaigns that support international student recruitment, branding, partnerships, and mobility objectives.
  • Project manage Global Galway’s presence at key recruitment and promotional events, including on-campus and external undergraduate and postgraduate fairs.
  • Create and implement communication strategies for prospective international students and external partners, with a strong emphasis on social media, email marketing, and copywriting.
  • Advise on and produce marketing collateral, templates, and communications materials to support best practice across Global Galway and College Global Teams.
  • Plan and support digital and print advertising activity, web content optimisation, and paid social media campaigns.
  • Identify new market and engagement opportunities and support related marketing projects and initiatives.
  • Lead market research and evaluation projects to inform recruitment and communications activity.
  • Build and manage relationships with internal stakeholders, alumni, external suppliers, and strategic partners, while representing the University at relevant events and forum.

Essential Criteria

  • A primary level 8 degree in a relevant field
  • A minimum of three years’ relevant work experience in a marketing or similar role
  • Demonstrable excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, analytical skills
  • Proficient skills in ICT tools related to the position
