About Us

We are a small, growing business tech company based in Manhattan. We are looking for a seasoned Marketing Content Lead/Blog Manager to manage and oversee digital content for two B2B tech companies. This is a hands-on, part-time role (10+/- hours per week) ideal for an experienced, organized writer-editor who understands both high-quality storytelling and digital content practices.

You will manage a small team of bloggers, oversee editorial workflow, and ensure our content continuously aligns with digital best practices and current industry topics.

THIS IS A PERMANENT, PART-TIME POSITION. You will work from home. You should be focused, curious by nature, autonomous, perfectionistic and proactive. The position offers schedule flexibility. This job is typically less than 10 hours a week, but some projects require added time. (This NOT a 1099 position - it is a W-2 slot. Please do NOT apply if you are seeking a 1099 position.)

How to Qualify:

  • Have solid content organization and business writing experience.
  • Be able to maintain and develop content strategies and stay current with tools and industry trends. Identify content gaps, optimize web content for search, use updated best practices for marketing material and align brand voice.
  • Follow our precise marketing communications process and update it when needed.
  • Mentor, manage, train and motivate team members.
  • Manage the production schedule and workflows end-to-end.
  • Be legally authorized to work in the USA.
  • Collaborate with Content, Web Development, Product and Design teams to integrate product strategies.
  • Have some experience in SEO fundamentals such as keywords, search intent and content structure.
  • Confidently complete or assign additional duties such as site quality checks, landing pages, email alerts, eBooks, product reviews, internal training library, web content updates, PPTs, scripts and other content writing tasks.

Compensation

Our starting compensation ranges from $28 - $34 per hour and is dependent upon experience. We offer wage/performance reviews every 90 days, with the opportunity for performance-based revenue increases.
