The Company

Our client is a national, purpose‑driven organization operating within the environmental and public engagement space, focused on delivering impactful programs through education, awareness, and collaboration with municipalities and stakeholders.

This role is part of a growing regional team supporting initiatives across Atlantic Canada. The organization is seeking a bilingual marketing and communications professional to help execute key campaigns, support stakeholder engagement, and contribute to ongoing program success. This is a 12‑month contract with strong potential for extension or permanency.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns and promotional materials, including digital, print, and social media initiatives.
  • Support resident‑focused promotion and education programs, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with agencies, municipalities, and partners to manage advertising campaigns from concept through execution.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of communications materials, including presentations, webinars, and stakeholder messaging.
  • Track and analyze campaign performance metrics and KPIs, identifying opportunities for optimization and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure all marketing activities are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with brand standards and communication guidelines.
  • Support the planning and execution of stakeholder events and engagement initiatives, including quarterly travel for meetings and events.
  • Contribute to maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring consistent and effective communication.

Requirements

You are a bilingual, adaptable, and execution‑focused marketing professional who is comfortable balancing multiple priorities while delivering high‑quality work.

  • Post‑secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field
  • 5–8+ years of experience in marketing and communications (agency, corporate, nonprofit, or public sector experience all considered)
  • Full bilingual proficiency in English and French (written and spoken) — this is a must‑have
  • Hands‑on experience executing marketing campaigns, including digital, social media, and stakeholder communications
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to track KPIs and evaluate campaign performance
  • Experience working with stakeholders, including public sector or community‑based partners (an asset)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences
  • Organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a deadline‑driven environment
  • Familiarity with AI tools and emerging marketing technologies is considered an asset

Compensation

Expected Compensation: $98K
