Modern Luxury Media, the nation’s largest luxury lifestyle media company, is seeking a highly organized, creative, and driven Assistant to the Publisher / Marketing Coordinator to join our Philadelphia office.

This dynamic role supports the Publisher, sales leadership team, and marketing initiatives across Philadelphia Style, Modern Luxury Weddings Philadelphia, and Modern Luxury Media platforms. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is equally comfortable managing executive support responsibilities, coordinating events, assisting with sales initiatives, creating marketing materials, and supporting digital and social media efforts.

This position is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, a polished professional presence, and a passion for luxury media, events, marketing, and client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to the Publisher and sales leadership team
  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing initiatives, strategic partnerships, and revenue-generating programs
  • Coordinate RSVP management, guest lists, invitation tracking, seating organization, and attendee communications for events and activations
  • Support the planning and execution of luxury events, photoshoots, networking experiences, and experiential marketing programs
  • Manage and oversee regional social media efforts across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms
  • Create engaging social media content including reels, stories, event coverage, behind-the-scenes content, and promotional posts
  • Assist with in-book promotions, branded editorial opportunities, and special marketing sections
  • Communicate directly with clients regarding deadlines, assets, approvals, deliverables, and promotional timelines
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, venues, photographers, caterers, entertainment partners, and production teams
  • Maintain and update event calendars, marketing schedules, and promotional timelines
  • Assist with client-facing reports, campaign recaps, and KPI tracking for marketing and partnership initiatives
  • Utilize AI-powered tools and emerging technologies to improve workflow efficiency, marketing execution, content creation, and presentation development
  • Support organizational workflow management while handling multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Asset in creation of sales presentations, sponsorship decks, sell sheets, media kits, event recaps, and marketing collateral

Desired Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong CRM understanding with the ability to learn, manage, and train team members on systems and workflows
  • Exceptional organizational skills with experience managing RSVPs, guest lists, event logistics, and multiple ongoing projects
  • Strong understanding of social media strategy, audience engagement, and digital marketing best practices
  • Proficiency in AI-powered platforms and emerging digital tools including ChatGPT, Gamma, Canva AI, and related technologies
  • Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and Excel
  • Strong Excel proficiency including spreadsheets, tracking documents, reporting, formulas, and organizational management
  • Canva and content creation experience with the ability to produce polished social, marketing, and presentation materials
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Experience creating sales presentations, sponsorship decks, sell sheets, and client-facing marketing materials
  • Familiarity with KPIs, analytics reporting, campaign recaps, and client-facing performance reports
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail

  • Experience in luxury media, marketing, hospitality, events, public relations, or related industries preferred
  • Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends in support of events and activations
