About the Role

DeWayne’s is looking for a creative, hands-on Marketing Coordinator to help bring our brand to life across in-store and digital channels. This is a jack-of-all-trades marketing role ideal for someone who enjoys graphic design, print production, social media, and campaign execution in a fast-paced retail environment.

You’ll work closely with the Marketing Manager and internal teams to turn business priorities into polished, accurate marketing deliverables that drive store traffic, support events, and maintain brand consistency—all while helping us live out our Vision Statement: “A Happy Place to Work and Shop.”

Key Responsibilities

Digital & Social Media

  • Plan, create, and publish daily social media content (posts, stories, reels, promotions, and event updates)
  • Maintain a content calendar aligned with seasonal promotions and store initiatives
  • Capture, source, and organize approved photo and video assets
  • Monitor social channels and assist customers via social media and email; escalate issues when needed
  • Design, schedule, and distribute email campaigns promoting events, sales, and new products
  • Assist with basic website updates including banners, promotions, and event messaging

Creative & Print Production

  • Design brand-consistent marketing materials for both print and digital use
  • Adapt layouts for multiple sizes and formats
  • Produce print materials, including operating or assisting with large-format printers
  • Trim, mount, laminate, and finish signage and promotional materials
  • Install, rotate, and remove in-store signage based on promotion timelines

Collaboration & Events

  • Collaborate with internal departments to gather requirements, confirm approvals, and meet deadlines
  • Support special events with collateral creation, setup, on-site assistance, and teardown
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and brand standards

Additional Responsibilities

  • Maintain organized marketing files and reusable templates
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude aligned with DeWayne’s Vision Statement

Qualifications & Skills

  • Associate’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or related field OR two years of relevant experience
  • Retail experience preferred, but not required
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator required
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred
  • Experience with large-format printers preferred, but not required
  • Creative mindset with strong attention to detail
  • Assertive problem-solver able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Team-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility and accountability
  • Comfortable using scissors, X-Acto knives, and power tools
  • Ability to lift heavy media onto printers
