BD Industries BDI Group (of companies) is an ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certified organization manufacturing plastic products in Mumbai since over 35 years. We manufacture over 500 products and cater to 8 different industries including custom rotational moulding. We are vendors to leading automotive companies for fuels tanks, in-cab parts, fenders, roof tops, ad blue tanks etc. BDI also manufactures various kinds of road barriers and other allied products for the safety industry. For material handling products we manufacture the entire range of plastic pallets (with foam/ without foam/with steel reinforcement). Dustbins, Twin bins, Garbage Chutes, Hospital furniture are some of the other products BDI does. Our speciality lies in custom moulding and developing newer concepts and products right from the “sketch off a napkin”. With 5 plants in western, northern and southern India, BDI is well poised to serve customers PAN India.
Role Overview
BD Industries is looking for a Marketing Support Executive to support the marketing team by handling lead calling, follow-ups, customer coordination, and internal communication with plant teams. The role requires regular interaction with prospective and existing customers, maintaining lead records, and ensuring smooth coordination for order status, dispatch, and customer requirements.
Experience in SAP is mandatory for updating and tracking customer and order-related information.
Key Responsibilities
- Call potential and existing leads provided by the marketing team.
- Introduce company products and services to prospective customers.
- Follow up with leads and generate customer interest for further discussion by the sales team.
- Coordinate with plant and production teams regarding customer requirements, order status, dispatch timelines, and availability.
- Maintain proper records of calls, follow-ups, and customer feedback.
- Update customer and lead information in SAP on a daily basis.
- Prepare basic reports related to lead status, follow-up activity, and customer responses.
- Ensure timely communication between customers, marketing team, and plant teams.
- Support the team in achieving monthly lead conversion and follow-up targets.
- Handle customer queries and escalate issues to the concerned department whenever required.
Required Skills
- Good communication and convincing skills in English and Hindi.
- Strong follow-up and coordination ability.
- Basic understanding of customer handling and telecalling processes.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with internal departments.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
- SAP knowledge is mandatory.
- Ability to maintain records and work in a structured manner.
Qualification
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Additional certification in marketing, customer service, or SAP will be preferred.
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in telecalling, customer coordination, inside sales, or marketing support.
- Prior experience in manufacturing, industrial, or OEM-related industries will be preferred.
Requirements
- SAP knowledge is mandatory.
