Responsibilities
The Marketing & Executive Support Coordinator will support MPC’s marketing and communications efforts with a strong focus on social media strategy, brand awareness, and digital presence. As well as supporting the President with day‑to‑day tasks. This role will be responsible for managing MPC’s social media platforms and company website, building brand recognition, showcasing company culture and values, and supporting broader marketing and business development initiatives. The position will work closely with leadership and cross‑functional teams to execute a coordinated, rolling 12‑month content strategy planning.
Duties
- Develop, manage, and execute MPC’s social media presence across multiple platforms, aligned with defined business and branding goals.
- Review and respond to social media interactions on behalf of the President and company to maintain engagement and brand presence.
- Assist with scheduling and calendar management for the President's meetings, appointments and deadlines.
- Make travel arrangements for the President and other key members, for trade show customer visits, conferences, and client visits, including preparing itineraries and materials as needed.
- Assist with routine maintenance and cleaning of the President’s company vehicle, as needed, to ensure it is kept in presentable condition.
- Create and publish content that highlights:
- Company culture and the social side of MPC
- Employee engagement and retention
- MPC’s operational excellence and manufacturing capabilities
- MPC’s values of Innovation, Integrity, and Collaboration
- MPC’s identity as a Canadian manufacturer
- Drive follower growth, engagement, and brand awareness, particularly on LinkedIn.
- Plan and schedule content strategically based on business cycles, customer purchasing timelines, and industry events.
- Collaborate with industry associations, partners, and internal teams to extend reach and visibility.
- Track performance metrics, report on results, and support the definition of success measures.
- Manage and maintain the MPC company website, ensuring content is accurate, current, and aligned with brand messaging.
- Update website content related to products, capabilities, projects, news, careers, and company initiatives.
- Coordinate website enhancements, layout updates, and basic optimization in collaboration with external vendors or internal resources, as required.
- Ensure consistency between website content, social media messaging, and marketing materials.
- Support the development and execution of a rolling 12‑month content strategy plan.
- Create and update marketing materials, including presentations, digital assets, and promotional content.
- Assist with messaging development to support sales, recruiting, and brand positioning.
- Assist with quoting and supporting materials for new projects, working with internal stakeholders as needed.
- Prepare or update customer‑facing materials that support sales and business development activities.
- Assist with company events and initiatives that support employee engagement and culture.
- Participate in continuous improvement and assist in its implementation on an ongoing basis.
- Capture internal events, milestones, and achievements for internal and external communications.
- Attend plant meetings and actively participate in related projects.
- Promote MPC’s core values and actively contribute to a positive and rewarding team environment.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with MPC procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures.
- Plan effectively to ensure all assigned duties are completed on schedule. Includes organizing and updating documents and files according to job function.
- Assist with the quoting process by performing data entry.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program related to Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or Business.
- Experience or familiarity with managing websites and content management systems (CMS) is an asset.
- Strong written, visual, and digital communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Instagram and LinkedIn best practices.
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Creative, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working with both structure and flexibility.
- Interest in manufacturing, operations, or B2B environments is an asset.
- Excellent problem‑solving and work planning ability.
- Ability to successfully work both independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks with a high level of detail while demonstrating an appropriate sense of urgency to meet timing and customer needs, while maintaining accountability for his or her own work.
- A demonstrated high level of computer skills for analytical, presentation, and media editing software.
- A valid passport is required.
- Must be available to travel out of the country.
