Position Summary

Ball Chain Manufacturing Co., a fifth-generation, family-owned, multi-divisional U.S. manufacturer, is seeking an active, hands‑on marketing director for its three divisions: Ball Chain, ShimmerScreen, and LogoTags.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop digital marketing strategy by studying economic indicators, tracking changes in supply and demand, identifying customers and their current and future needs, and monitoring competition
  • Plans and execute all web, SEO/SEM, database marketing, e‑mail, social media, and display advertising campaigns
  • Design, build, and maintains our social media presence
  • Contribute to marketing effectiveness by identifying short‑term and long‑term issues to be addressed
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess relative to goals (ROI and KPIs)
  • Manage Rakuten budget and strategy
  • Identify trends and insights
  • Optimize spend and performance based on insights
  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies through digital marketing
  • Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end‑to‑end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in marketing or a related field
  • Experience in digital marketing, particularly within the manufacturing industry
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM systems, a marketing database, e‑mail, social media, and/or display advertising campaigns
  • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
  • Solid knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends, SEMRush, etc.)
  • Fluency in Salesforce, HubSpot, BigCommerce and similar platforms
  • Working knowledge of ad serving tools
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing PPC campaigns on all major search engines
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints

Salary

$90,000 – $125,000
