Our client, a privately held agribusiness with a strong domestic presence, is seeking an experienced and strategic Marketing Manager for their organization based out of Guelph. This is an exciting opportunity for a marketing leader to deliver impactful strategies and campaigns that align with business objectives while ensuring seamless continuity of operations during the transition period. The role requires a hands‑on professional capable of guiding marketing initiatives from planning through execution, working cross‑functionally to support growth and brand excellence.
Responsibilities
- Guiding marketing initiatives from planning through execution, working cross‑functionally to support growth and brand excellence.
- Overseeing comprehensive marketing plans, analyzing market and sales performance, and articulating the company's value proposition across B2B networks.
- Emphasizes strategic leadership in campaign development, brand positioning, and competitive market analysis.
- Collaboration with internal teams and vendors will be key to the success of marketing initiatives, including support for product launches and lead generation strategies aimed at expanding the company’s international reach and customer base.
- Reporting directly to the President, the Marketing Manager will also play a pivotal role in leading the marketing team, shaping brand communications, and executing data‑driven strategies that generate measurable business outcomes.
- Overseeing content creation across digital, print, and social channels, managing budgets and KPIs, and providing regular performance analytics.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, agricultural business, or a related field.
- At least five years of demonstrated success in agribusiness marketing.
- Metrics‑driven mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to influence diverse stakeholders.
- Seasonal leader, comfortable in both strategic and tactical roles, with a strong background in agricultural marketing and digital tools.
- Occasional travel.
- Firm understanding of both traditional and emerging agricultural marketing channels.
Salary
Our Client’s preferred Salary Target is $90 000 – $100 000 and we encourage all applicants interested in this opportunity to apply. Please note, the hiring salary will be based on the selected candidate’s experience and ability to support the organization.
