Marketing & Community Growth Manager

Manhattan Fencing Center is looking for a proactive, organized, and growth-oriented Marketing & Community Growth Manager to help take our business to the next level across our NYC and New Jersey locations.

We are not simply looking for someone to manage social media — we already have support in that area. We are looking for someone who can actively help grow enrollment, fill camps and events, improve client retention, strengthen our online presence, and build meaningful relationships within the community.

The ideal candidate is someone who is hands-on, creative, highly organized, and excited to help grow a youth sports business with a strong local reputation.

Responsibilities

• Help increase student enrollment across all locations
• Fill summer camps, clinics, events, and special programs
• Build relationships with schools, PTOs, camps, community centers, and local organizations
• Develop outreach partnerships and grassroots marketing opportunities
• Improve internal marketing efforts to increase participation in camps, events, clinics, and programs
• Help strengthen client retention and engagement
• Increase online reviews and improve local online presence
• Coordinate newsletters, promotions, advertising campaigns, and community outreach
• Work alongside our social media manager to help guide marketing priorities and promotional strategy
• Identify new growth opportunities and help execute them
• Track marketing performance and help develop long-term growth strategies

Requirements

• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven
• Comfortable with outreach, networking, and relationship-building
• Experience in marketing, sales, business development, community outreach, or sports management preferred
• Experience with youth programs, camps, or family-focused businesses is a plus
• Ability to take initiative and independently manage projects
• Passion for sports, youth development, and community engagement is a major plus
