Overview
We are seeking an energetic and self-driven Marketing Manager to lead our marketing and social media initiatives and drive brand growth across multiple channels.
We are a family-owned company that has been building pools in the Raleigh area for over 20 years. Traditionally, our high quality and customer loyalty have kept us busy through referrals, with very little need for advertising or social media. However, with the increasing importance of social media visibility, search presence, and overall online brand awareness, we are now looking for a dedicated team member to help our brand stand out.
While we are early in our digital marketing journey, we have a planned roadmap to integrate new strategies over time. The initial focus will be on revitalizing our website—making it valuable to both potential clients and optimized for search engines and AI-driven search. Once that foundation is established, the role will expand into social media content creation, digital advertising, and customer review strategies.
The Marketing Manager will work closely with the Operations Manager to implement tools, platforms, and processes needed for success. Performance will be measured by improvements in website traffic, lead generation, search visibility, and overall online engagement.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute the company’s overall marketing strategy to drive brand awareness and lead generation
- Manage the redevelopment and ongoing optimization of the company website, improving user experience, content quality, and search engine optimization (SEO)
- Optimize website content for both traditional search engines and AI-driven search visibility (generative engine optimization)
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager to implement and manage marketing tools, platforms, and workflows
- Analyze website performance and user behavior to continuously improve traffic, conversion rates, and lead quality
- Develop and execute a social media strategy aligned with brand goals once the website foundation is established
- Create and manage engaging content across social media platforms to increase brand visibility and audience engagement
- Plan and implement digital advertising campaigns (e.g., paid social, search ads) to support lead generation efforts
- Build and manage a customer review and reputation strategy to strengthen online credibility and local presence
- Track, measure, and report on key performance metrics including website traffic, lead generation, search visibility, and engagement
- Identify opportunities for growth and continuously refine marketing strategies based on performance data and industry trends
- Ensure brand consistency across all digital channels and customer touchpoints
