Global Marketing Manager

Vudoo

New York · flexible Contract Mid Level $110k – $130k/yr Today

About the role

Company Description

Vudoo is redefining how commerce happens within media.

Our commerce media technology transforms ads and content into shoppable environments— allowing consumers to browse, add to cart, and purchase without leaving the experience.

Powered by a patent-pending tech stack, secure API infrastructure, and advanced analytics, we operate as the infrastructure layer powering “Commerce Everywhere” — connecting media exposure directly to commerce outcomes through interactive formats, real-time intent data, and closed-loop attribution.

Founded in Melbourne and operating globally across North America, EMEA, and APAC, Vudoo’s award-winning technology has been used by leading brands including Mattel, KitchenAid, SharkNinja, Nike, Adidas, Fisher Price, McDonald's, and Pernod Ricard. At the same time, we work closely with a global ecosystem of publishers, platforms, and ad tech partners — including Amazon, News Corp, Corus, CNN, Yahoo, PubMatic, SeenThis, Index Exchange, and Interpublic Group — to bring commerce into media at scale.

This is not a theoretical category. Vudoo is actively shaping how commerce media is bought, sold, and executed.

Role Description

At Vudoo, marketing is directly tied to revenue. It exists to enable sales, partnerships, and market adoption through clear, commercially effective narratives and consistent execution.

We’re looking for a Global Marketing Manager to join our Growth team on a 12-month maternity leave contract. This role is responsible for maintaining and executing Vudoo’s global marketing output during a critical period of growth, ensuring continuity across all core functions as the business scales internationally.

Based in the United States, the role brings local market context and proximity to emerging US activity, while retaining full responsibility for supporting global marketing execution. It ensures consistency of output, messaging, and delivery across all regions, while contributing to the development of Vudoo’s presence in the US as the market evolves. This role offers a base salary in the range of USD $110,000 – $130,000 per annum, depending on experience and skills.

You will work closely with the SVP Growth & Marketing to translate Vudoo’s evolving proposition — across commerce media, retail media, and emerging areas such as AI and agentic commerce — into clear, commercially effective materials spanning sales enablement, content, digital experience, and events.

This role operates in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment, requiring regular alignment and consistent overlap with Australian working hours.

The initial focus on this role in the first 3-6 months will be:

  • Maintain continuity of existing marketing execution across all regions
  • Support active sales cycles through high-quality enablement materials
  • Support and execute key US activations and events as required
  • Contribute to evolving messaging and narrative development

What You Will Do

Sales Enablement & Commercial Support (Primary Responsibility)

  • Create and maintain high-quality sales materials, including pitch decks, one-pagers, case studies, and proposals
  • Translate product capabilities and partnerships into clear, commercially effective narratives
  • Partner directly with sales, partnerships, and leadership to support active deal cycles and revenue opportunities
  • Continuously refine messaging based on market feedback and commercial needs

Content & Narrative Execution

  • Own and execute Vudoo’s content strategy, including:
    • LinkedIn and organic social
    • Case studies and client stories
    • Core marketing content aligned to commercial priorities
  • Translate leadership direction and strategic narratives into clear, consistent, and high-quality content outputs
  • Support production of the Commerce Media Matters podcast
  • Ensure all content aligns with Vudoo’s positioning across commerce media, retail media evolution, and AI-driven commerce

Website & Narrative Evolution

  • Manage the ongoing website refresh and optimisation, ensuring alignment with evolving positioning and messaging
  • Translate new strategic directions (e.g. AI, agentic commerce, partnerships) into clear digital messaging
  • Own content updates, page builds, and messaging consistency across the site

Events & Industry Presence

  • Plan and execute key events and industry activations (owned and partnered) together with your team
  • Support commercial teams in leveraging events for pipeline generation and relationship building
  • Manage logistics, content, and post-event follow-ups

Execution & Operations

  • Work in a highly collaborative, iterative workflow with the SVP Growth & Marketing, requiring regular alignment and overlap with Australian working hours
  • Own the marketing calendar and priorities, ensuring high-impact output across all channels
  • Manage freelancers, agencies, and internal stakeholders to deliver work efficiently
  • Track performance across content, events, and digital — focusing on commercial impact, not vanity metrics.

Who you are

You’ll bring:

  • 4 years + experience in marketing, ideally within adtech, martech, media, or B2B technology environments
  • Strong experience executing across content, sales enablement, and digital channels in a commercial setting
  • Experience supporting marketing outputs that contribute to pipeline, partnerships, or revenue outcomes
  • Ability to translate complex products or solutions into clear, compelling messaging and materials
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver at pace
  • A data-informed mindset, with experience tracking and improving performance of marketing outputs
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, with a high standard of attention to detail
  • A proactive, hands-on approach and ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Genuine interest in content, storytelling, and (bonus) podcast or video production

Desirable

  • Experience working within advertising, media, or adtech environments, with an understanding of how campaigns, publishers, and programmatic ecosystems operate
  • Familiarity with commerce media, retail media, or performance-driven marketing environments
  • Experience working across global teams or distributed environments
  • Proficiency with CMS platforms, email platforms, and marketing tools (Umbraco, Hubspot, Buzzsprout)
  • Experience producing and managing podcasts
  • Familiarity with creative tools (Canva, Adobe Suite, etc.)
