Marketing Manager – Public Benefit Organisation

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Marketing Manager to lead our marketing, branding and events portfolio.

This role is key to strengthening our public profile and impact through strategic marketing, rebranding initiatives, media engagement, digital content, and high-quality events. Reporting to the CEO, the successful candidate will drive campaigns that connect donors, stakeholders and beneficiaries while ensuring consistent brand presence across all platforms.

The ideal candidate will have a min of 5 years’ experience in marketing, branding, events and communications, strong storytelling skills, hands-on digital and social media expertise, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a purpose-driven environment. Experience in the non-profit sector is advantageous.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Branding & Rebranding • Lead and coordinate the organisation’s rebranding initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. • Maintain consistent brand identity across all communication platforms. • Oversee the development of new marketing collateral and digital assets reflecting the refreshed brand.

Marketing & PR • Develop and implement marketing and PR strategies to enhance the organisation’s profile. • Draft and distribute press releases, media statements, and newsletters. • Build and maintain positive relationships with media partners, sponsors, and stakeholders.

Event Management • Plan, coordinate, and execute organisational events, including fundraising initiatives, awareness campaigns, and stakeholder engagements. • Manage logistics, budgets, and post-event evaluations. • Ensure strong branding and visibility at all events.

Digital & Social Media • Develop and manage content calendars for social media platforms. • Create engaging digital content (posts, videos, stories) to grow online presence and engagement. • Monitor analytics and trends to adapt strategies for maximum impact. • Manage updates to the organisation’s website and digital channels.

Internal & External Communications • Support internal communication efforts to align staff with brand and campaign objectives. • Assist with donor and stakeholder communication, including impact stories and reporting.
