Marketing Manager (m/f/d) B2B Performance
As an Online Marketing Manager (m/f/d), you will take strategic and operational responsibility for our digital marketing activities in the B2B environment. You will manage our performance campaigns, further develop our online presence, and ensure that measures are implemented efficiently and measurably successfully through your excellent project management.
Responsibilities
- Building, planning, managing, and optimizing our digital performance campaigns in B2B (e.g., SEA/Google Ads, Display, Paid Social).
- Creating and preparing reports and dashboards (e.g., Google Analytics / Looker Studio).
- Operational implementation of campaign setups, including targeting, ad creation (in collaboration with Content/Design), landing pages, and ongoing optimization.
- Monitoring and analyzing relevant KPIs (e.g., reach, engagement, conversion rate, CPL, funnel metrics), including deriving and implementing concrete optimization measures.
- Supporting the maintenance and further development of our websites, webshop, and bonus program – including landing page optimization for campaigns.
- Strategic further development of our social media presence (e.g., Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn) in the B2B context.
- Monitoring social KPIs (e.g., follower growth, engagement, click-through rate) and deriving recommendations for action in collaboration with the marketing team.
- Conceiving, creating, and sending newsletters and email campaigns (e.g., for existing customers, leads, partners).
- Evaluating email performance (open rate, CTR, conversion) and ongoing optimization of subject lines, content, and sending logic.
Requirements
- Completed degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, E-commerce, or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of extensive professional experience in Performance/Digital Marketing (agency or in-house), ideally in the B2B environment.
- Detailed knowledge in the areas of SEO and Paid Media (e.g., Google Ads/SEA, LinkedIn Ads, Display Advertising).
- Social media know-how in the B2B sector: experience in building and further developing company profiles (especially LinkedIn).
- Practical experience in newsletter and email marketing support, ideally with common email or marketing automation tools.
- Confident use of analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Looker Studio, or comparable).
- Ideally, experience with tracking & tagging (e.g., Google Tag Manager) and a basic understanding of data protection (GDPR) in online marketing.
- Experience with CMS systems (e.g., WordPress, Typo3, Shopware, or similar) is an advantage.
- Strong project management skills: You plan structurally, prioritize clearly, and reliably meet deadlines.
- Hands-on mentality and high initiative – you think proactively, drive topics forward, and actively get involved operationally.
- Enjoy teamwork and confident communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset, high affinity for numbers, and a clear understanding of performance and business goals.
- Very good English skills, both written and spoken; further languages are an advantage.

Contract Details
- Initially limited to two years as parental leave cover.
Requirements
- Abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Marketing, Kommunikation, Medien, E-Commerce oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation.

- Idealerweise Erfahrung mit Tracking & Tagging (z. B. Google Tag Manager) sowie grundlegendes Verständnis von Datenschutz (DSGVO) im Online-Marketing.
