Axonify is seeking a transformative Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to architect and lead our marketing organization through an exciting period of strategic evolution and accelerated growth. Partnering across the business, you will design and execute a sophisticated, modern marketing strategy that masterfully leverages the latest advancements in Artificial Intelligence (AI), a hybrid go-to-market (GTM) model blending Product-Led Growth (PLG) with targeted enterprise sales, and a culture of collaboration, rapid experimentation and data‑driven decision‑making. Responsibilities
Strategic Vision & Marketing Leadership: Develop, articulate, and champion a compelling marketing vision and strategy that directly supports Axonify's evolution into a frontline business optimization platform. Architect, recruit, mentor, and lead a high‑performing, agile marketing team. Oversee the entire customer acquisition journey, ensuring effective lead generation, robust qualification processes for Marketing‑Qualified Leads (MQLs), Product‑Qualified Leads (PQLs), Sales‑Qualified Leads (SQLs), and high‑velocity conversion.
AI‑Driven Marketing Innovation: Serve as the primary advocate and strategist for the integration of AI throughout the marketing organization. Leverage AI for predictive analytics, hyper‑personalization at scale, intelligent lead scoring, dynamic content optimization, and enhanced operational efficiency. Ensure the team remains at the vanguard of AI marketing trends, tools, and best practices.
Brand Messaging & Content Strategy: Develop and execute resonant brand messaging, compelling content strategies, and impactful communication plans that engage target C‑suite and operational leaders, establishing Axonify as the definitive thought leader in this evolved category.
Culture of Experimentation & Growth: Ingrain a culture of continuous, data‑driven experimentation and learning across the marketing team. Implement agile methodologies and robust processes for rapid hypothesis generation, A/B testing, performance analysis, and strategic iteration across all marketing channels and initiatives to maximize ROI and accelerate growth trajectories.
Cross‑Functional Partnerships: Build and maintain strong, collaborative partnerships with Sales, Product, Customer Success, Finance, and other key departments to ensure tightly aligned GTM execution, a seamless and value‑driven customer experience, and unified progress towards overarching company objectives. Serve as a key member of the executive leadership team.
Marketing Operations & Technology Ecosystem: Direct the strategy and oversight of a sophisticated marketing operations function and a cutting‑edge MarTech stack, encompassing CRM, marketing automation, advanced analytics platforms, and AI‑driven marketing tools. Champion data integrity, process excellence, and a scalable infrastructure that supports global growth.
Performance Analytics & ROI Accountability: Define, monitor, and report on a comprehensive suite of KPIs that accurately reflect the performance and impact of modern marketing strategies. Provide transparent and insightful performance reporting to the executive team and Board of Directors, clearly demonstrating marketing's ROI.
Strategic Budget & Resource Management: Develop, secure, and meticulously manage the global marketing budget, strategically allocating resources across programs, technologies, and talent to maximize impact and achieve ambitious strategic and financial goals.
Requirements
- Experience as a Chief Marketing Officer or a comparable senior marketing leadership role (e.g., VP of Marketing, Head of Marketing) within a B2B SaaS organization, with a clear track record of architecting strategies that have driven significant, measurable revenue growth and market share expansion.
- Familiarity with frontline industries, and interest in optimizing customer experiences, elevating worker experiences, navigating evolving technology and service models, and improving frontline business outcomes.
- Demonstrated success in leveraging personal strengths in both the art and the science of marketing.
- Success in leading a company through a significant brand evolution, market repositioning, or new category creation initiative.
- Successful application of Artificial Intelligence in marketing, with curiosity and drive to continuously discover and leverage new capabilities in this rapidly evolving space.
- Proven ability to build, inspire, lead, and structure agile, data‑centric marketing teams capable of high‑velocity experimentation, continuous learning, and consistent execution in a fast‑paced environment.
