About the role
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Responsible for the strategic growth and development of Golden 1's deposit-related product and membership growth marketing strategy and campaigns.
- Lead positioning, messaging, and value proposition development for deposit products and solutions.
- Translate customer, market, and competitive insights into actionable go-to-market plans.
- Steer the team to extract customer insights and gain an in-depth understanding of customers, segment needs and behavior to ensure that all marketing initiatives showcase our products in compelling ways. Helps the team leverage market data to establish growth and acquisition opportunities.
- Own launch strategy and execution for new deposit products, enhancements and features.
- Drive membership acquisition, deposit product adoption, engagement, and growth across the product lifecycle in partnership with the product team.
- Lead and directs a team, in developing comprehensive data-driven, personalized, automated full funnel product go-to-marketing strategies and tactical plans leveraging marketing technologies, digital tactics and traditional media.
- Partner closely with product to influence deposit roadmap decisions using market and customer insights.
- Track and monitor membership growth and closure numbers. With proactive marketing plans to drive membership growth and curb closures.
- Ensure effective cross collaboration and teamwork with all internal departments and external groups.
- Collaborate with Retail, MSCC and Product to develop cross service narratives, tools and in channel activations.
- Directly manage, mentor, and develop a team of Product Marketing Managers.
- Supervise the workflow, tasks, and productivity of employees responsible for the daily administration of deposit campaigns.
- Foster a positive and engaging work environment for each team member by promoting skill development, coaching for improvement and growth, inspiring others through your words and actions, ensuring positive employee morale throughout Golden 1, and embracing our mission, vision, and core values.
- Set clear goals, priorities, and success metrics for the team.
- Partner with HR and leadership on hiring and onboarding.
- Build scalable processes, templates, and best practices to increase team effectiveness.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of state and federal laws and regulations related to credit union compliance including bank secrecy and anti-money laundering laws appropriate to the position.

- Develop and maintain an understanding of the pertinent regulatory requirements and risks inherent to job responsibilities, establish, and maintain control activities that mitigate those risks consistent with the Credit Union's risk appetite, and ensure operational integrity and compliance with applicable regulations.
QUALIFICIATIONS AND PREFERENCES:
- Bachelor's Degree Marketing required and
- Master's Degree Business Administration preferred
- 6+ years Product marketing or go-to-market experience in financial institutions. required and
- 3+ years Or more of people management experience. Digital Marketing experience. Extensive cross collaboration skills within high matrixed organizations. required
