Your Role
Our global Supply Chain Management organization strives for harmonization of its data and analysis environment. Excellent master data quality and appropriate use of SAP are the focus of efficient material management. To ensure high-quality management of this data, we are looking for a Master Data Expert 100% (all genders) to strengthen our Supply Chain Data Engineering Team.
Responsibilities
- You monitor and maintain SAP master data (especially material masters and bills of materials) to ensure a consistent, complete, and error-free database across the entire global supply chain.
- You coordinate and implement the operational material introduction and phase-out process. You are responsible for correct data creation and perform necessary master data corrections across all supply chain units.
- In close cooperation with other departments, you contribute to the optimization of reporting tools. This allows you to transform data into valuable insights for strategic decisions.
- You promote continuous improvement in global data management. Your focus is on increasing efficiency and reducing costs through excellent data quality (Data Stewardship).
- As the main point of contact for stakeholders, you support or lead projects in close cooperation with our business partners and act as an MDM Power User in a multicultural environment.
Qualifications
- You have completed commercial or technical training and have a strong flair for numbers, systems, and complex data structures.
- Initial professional experience in Supply Chain Management and knowledge from an industrial environment are advantageous.
- You are proficient in using SAP (focus on master data) and have sound MS Office skills.
- You are characterized by a high quality awareness, a proactive work approach, and a quick grasp of things.
- Your communication skills in German and English (written and spoken) are negotiation-level.
