Avanciers is seeking a highly skilled Master Data Management (MDM) Consultant for an exciting opportunity with one of our Fortune 500 clients, based in Burnaby, BC / Calgary, AB.

We are looking for an experienced MDM Consultant / Senior Consultant to join our growing data management team. This role focuses on driving Master Data Management (MDM) initiatives, including data quality, migration, and enterprise-wide MDM implementations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support end-to-end MDM implementations and data migration initiatives
• Conduct As-Is assessments, identify gaps, and define MDM roadmaps
• Perform data profiling and data quality analysis
• Design, develop, and test MDM configurations aligned with business requirements
• Define and implement data migration strategies and integration patterns
• Develop business rules, match/merge logic, and workflow configurations
• Facilitate client workshops, design sessions, and testing coordination
• Create solution documentation, business cases, and whitepapers
• Support RFPs, proposals, and capability development initiatives

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of overall IT experience
• 5+ years of experience in Master Data Management (MDM) projects
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Informatica MDM / Informatica Data Quality (DQ) or Stibo
• Strong experience in data analysis, data quality, and requirements gathering (BRD)
• Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and validation
• Good understanding of MDM architecture, implementation styles, and integration patterns
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree (preferred)
• Must be authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship
• Willing to relocate or commute to Burnaby, BC or Calgary, AB

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Agile methodologies
• Experience in client-facing roles and stakeholder management
• Knowledge of industry domains and emerging MDM trends
• Experience working in a global delivery model
