Probity is seeking a Python Developer / Database Engineer to support a high‑impact enterprise initiative focused on modernizing system security through automation, continuous monitoring, and data‑driven processes. The role involves building scalable backend systems, developing database‑driven applications, and supporting cloud‑based architectures. Candidates will complete a 50‑hour MongoDB training program provided by Probity at no cost, gaining hands‑on NoSQL database expertise.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using Python.
• Build and manage database structures, queries, and data pipelines.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Support cloud‑based data storage, retrieval, and analysis workflows.
• Create automated workflows to replace manual processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues (break/fix, enhancements).
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support the full project lifecycle.
• Contribute to system architecture and database design decisions.

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience with Python.
• Completion of a 50‑hour MongoDB training (provided by Probity at no additional cost).
• Experience with Django or Flask frameworks.
• Experience developing REST APIs.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS, C2S, or other cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with Docker / containerization.
• Experience with Swagger/OpenAPI.
• Proficiency with tools such as Git, Jira, and Confluence.
• Experience with JSON/XML serialization.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
