About the role

Overview

We are seeking a Project Coordinator to support MEPF construction projects from pre-construction to closeout. This role involves coordinating schedules, material deliveries, RFIs, submittals, takeoffs, estimating support, and other project documentation related to the scope of an MEPF contractor.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project schedules and track key milestones
  • Manage material delivery schedules and follow up with suppliers
  • Assist with quantity takeoffs and estimating support
  • Prepare, issue, and track RFIs and submittals
  • Maintain logs for RFIs, submittals, changes, and deliveries
  • Support procurement, shop drawing review, and project documentation
  • Coordinate with project managers, site staff, vendors, and consultants
  • Assist with closeout documents including O&Ms, warranties, and as-builts

Qualifications

  • Experience in project coordination within construction or MEPF contracting
  • Ability to read architectural, structural, and MEP drawings
  • Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook

Assets

  • Experience with takeoffs, estimating, procurement, and change management
  • Familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, or Revit
  • Knowledge of Canadian construction drawings and project workflows
