Responsibilities

Make an impact

• Conduct detail mechanical engineering in customer projects by using standard products as well as customizations for our light goods conveyor systems.
• Detailed 3D CAD product configuration and engineering to order design for customer projects using 3D CAD (SolidWorks) and PLM (Siemens Teamcenter)
• Creation of assemblies and individual parts in 3D CAD
• Preparation of technical drawings and BOM’s that comply with standards and are suitable for manufacturing
• Creation and maintenance of assemblies within the project structure using our PLM system
• Development of customized solutions for conveyors
• Collaborate intensively with internal partners across project engineering, project management, production, purchasing, product development and onsite teams
• Play an active role in implementing our automation and digitalization strategy with regard to engineering processes and tools
• Be responsible for releasing BOM’s to production
• Onboard and train external engineers

Requirements

What you need to succeed

• Degree in mechanical engineering or mechatronics
• Profound knowledge in 3D CAD systems, ideally in SolidWorks or Siemens NX
• Experience in mechanical engineering with modular and standardized products but also with customizations, ideally with a focus on conveyor technology is a plus
• Preferable knowledge in PLM systems, ideally in Siemens Teamcenter
• Familiarity with ERP systems (ideally SAP) is a plus as well
• Familiar with project based (engineering) environment
• A passion for detailed work and a strong commitment to quality
• Ability to manage deadlines and participate at multiple projects
• Structured way of working and passion for process optimizations
• Strong teamwork abilities and openness to collaborate with other disciplines and locations
• Fluent in both German and English
