Embark on an engineering journey with MDA Space as a Mechanical Engineering Intern in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue. This internship offers hands-on experience in mechanical design using Siemens Nx software and team collaboration.

As an Engineering student, you will join MDA Space starting September 2026 for a 4 to 8-month internship. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers on antenna, payload, and tooling design projects. This role involves creating 3D CAD models, drawings, and actively participating in team meetings, ensuring real-world engineering applications during your training.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical components using Siemens Nx software
• Create detailed 3D CAD models and related documentation
• Engage in collaborative team meetings and brainstorming
• Develop mass budgets and parts lists for projects
• Assist with purchasing and manufacturing activities

Requirements

• Completed second year of Mechanical Engineering with 3D modeling course
• Strong communication skills and eagerness to learn
• Proactive initiative in assigned tasks
• Preferred: completed third year of Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 in studies
