An lead defense contractor sitting in Petaluma, CA is looking to hire an ONSITE Engineering Manager. This person will be dedicated to their Group 2 UAV that has vertical take-off and landing.

Responsibilities

• Assist in improvement of the existing product, next gen design and upleveling the overall product.
• 60% of their time in executing different projects with the team and taking a lead role in project execution.
• 40% of their time will be spent in supporting the team with staff meetings, performance reviews and leading their team of 10 Mechanical Engineers in their development.

This site in Petaluma handles initial development of the product all the way through full cycle production, i.e. (design, analysis, prototype, integration, troubleshooting, and verification and assist in new product launch to production).
