Role Description This is a full-time role for a Mechanical Engineer's specializing in Product Design & Development (Plastics) at Cyient Hyderabad location. The role involves concept designs and developing plastic and sheet metal components, creating detailed CAD models, Conduct feasibility studies, design validation, and testing, and engaging in Advance Development to innovate new solutions. The Mechanical Engineer will also collaborate with cross-functional teams and support project management activities to ensure timely and quality deliverables.

Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering 6+ years of experience in product design & development (plastics preferred) Strong knowledge of plastic materials and injection molding processes Proficiency in CAD software’s (Creo, UG NX, Ansys (basics) etc.) Experience with DFMEA, DFM, DFA & Tolerance Analysis. Good analytical and communication skills Knowledge/experience in Mold design Exposure to simulation/analysis tools
