Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Mechanical Project Manager to oversee MEP projects throughout the DMV area. This full-charge role involves managing multiple medium to large-scale projects, with responsibilities that include preparing reports, maintaining records, securing vendor pricing, processing purchase orders, approving invoices, and maintaining correspondence with owner representatives.
Responsibilities • Responsible for the cost of goods on all assigned jobs. • Maintain and review all RFIs, submittals, substitution requests, change proposals, project schedules, project budgets, purchase orders, and invoices for multiple projects. • Analyze projects to determine scope, cost, and scheduling requirements. • Obtain permits from both General Contractors and local jurisdictions. • Arrange for returns of unused materials to vendors and ensure credit has been issued. • Obtain drawings from General Contractors and distribute them to necessary personnel. • Travel to multiple job locations as needed. • Attend meetings as required. • Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills • Project management experience in construction. • Strong history in mechanical engineering. • Experience with sheet metal, HVAC, and plumbing. • Proficiency in Procore software. • Ability to handle change orders and RFIs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related field preferred. • Minimum of 5+ years as a Project Manager in the commercial HVAC mechanical construction industry on projects valued at $350k or more.
Work Environment
This position requires on-site work at the office in Ashburn, with occasional travel to job sites. Candidates must have the ability to lift up to 60 pounds and maintain a high level of confidentiality for company projects and policy. Professional conduct is expected both internally and externally with clients and vendors. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ashburn, VA. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $120000.00/hr.

Requirements
- Project management experience in construction
- Strong history in mechanical engineering
