Mechanical QA/QC Engineer

We are supporting a leading international contractor in the appointment of an experienced Mechanical QA/QC Engineer for major projects in Germany. The role will suit candidates with strong piping, QA documentation, and system handover experience in regulated environments.

The Role:

• Manage mechanical QA/QC activities across piping and HVAC systems
• Carry out walkdowns against isometrics and P&IDs
• Produce and manage punch lists and QA documentation
• Update and maintain online QA / punch management systems
• Compile and manage test packs for pressure testing and system handover
• Support W1/W2/W3 walks through to final client handover
• Ensure accurate as-built drawings and documentation
• Monitor welding, fabrication, and subcontractor quality compliance
• Attend QA, punch, and progress meetings; issue KPI updates

Requirements:

• Mechanical Engineering degree or trade qualification (pipefitting advantageous)
• Previous experience in a Mechanical QA/QC role
• Background in Semiconductor or Pharma/Biopharma projects preferred
• Data Centre project experience also considered
• Strong knowledge of piping systems, HVAC, and P&IDs
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and QA documentation systems
