About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Mechatronics & Electronics Engineer to design, develop, and integrate complex electromechanical and electronic systems within our robotic platforms. This role emphasizes hardware architecture, electrical design, embedded systems, and full‑system integration.

The ideal candidate is equally comfortable working on circuit design, power systems, motion control, and hardware‑software integration – and thrives in a fast‑paced, multidisciplinary environment.

Key Responsibilities

Electronics & Electrical System Design

  • Design and develop electrical architectures for robotic platforms
  • Create and review schematics, wiring diagrams, and PCB layouts
  • Develop power distribution systems, battery integration, and voltage regulation systems
  • Select and integrate sensors, motor drivers, controllers, and embedded components
  • Ensure compliance with safety and electrical standards

Mechatronics & System Integration

  • Integrate mechanical assemblies with electrical and control systems
  • Configure and tune motors, actuators, encoders, and feedback systems
  • Support prototyping, system validation, and iterative hardware refinement
  • Collaborate with software engineers to ensure seamless hardware‑software communication

Controls & Embedded Systems

  • Develop and tune control systems (PID, motion control loops, feedback systems)
  • Work with PLCs, microcontrollers, and embedded platforms
  • Support firmware validation and system debugging

Testing, Troubleshooting & Validation

  • Conduct system‑level testing, validation, and performance benchmarking
  • Perform root cause analysis across mechanical, electrical, and software interfaces
  • Improve system reliability, safety, and performance through data‑driven analysis

Deployment & Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Support system commissioning and on‑site validation as needed
  • Work closely with AI, robotics, and mechanical teams to improve platform capabilities
  • Contribute to documentation, design reviews, and continuous improvement efforts

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in electronics design, mechatronics, robotics, or industrial automation
  • Strong experience with:
    • Circuit design and schematic development
    • PCB design and hardware validation
    • Motors, actuators, and motion control systems
    • Power electronics and battery systems
    • Sensors (LiDAR, cameras, IMUs, proximity, etc.)
  • Familiarity with embedded systems and microcontrollers
  • Ability to read CAD models, electrical schematics, and system architecture documentation
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

Preferred

  • Experience with robotic or autonomous systems
  • Familiarity with ROS or robotics middleware
  • Experience with industrial automation or high‑reliability systems
  • Knowledge of safety and compliance standards for robotics or electrical systems
