Media and Access Control Manager

About the Role

A Media and Access Control Manager job in Cincinnati, OH is currently available through Belcan at one of our Aerospace clients. To be considered for this role, you will need to have an relevant experience working in highly controlled and secure spaces with administrative or IT roles. In this role, you will be responsible for keeping detailed records of media and manage access control for many highly controlled spaces. This is a very visible position that will work directly with the clients at multiples levels of the business.

JOB DUTIES

• Assist with Low-to-High transfers
• Keep detailed logs of removable media going in/out of the compound
• Prepare media for Engineers/DTA's to complete data transfers
• Properly destroy media and maintain paperwork for a minimum of 5 years
• Maintain and issue temporary passwords for users once generated by SDS
• Assist with general security questions
• Assist with security forms such as Foreign Travel, PSQ, Nomination forms, etc.
• Access Control Manager:
  • Maintain alarm zone rosters for rooms
  • Add/Remove people from alarm zones as needed
  • Issue room combinations to people with verified access
  • Make/issue badges as needed
  • Maintain/issue PIN"s for people with verified access
  • Assist with general security questions

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 3 years of relevant Information Security / Cyber security experience, or similar military experience
• Background with Navy or other military environments or experience with JSIG, RMF, STIG or DOD 8500.2 requirements
• Must have a current 8570 certification commensurate with an IAM I (ISC2-CAP; SANS-GSLC; or CompTIA Security+)
• Must have a DoD Secret security clearance, with investigation date within the last five years
• Must be a US citizen
• Strong attention to detail, documentation, communication skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science or similar degree program
• Familiarity to working knowledge of ServiceNow, Splunk, Nessus, SEPM, etc.

Compensation

We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary rate of $70,000 to $80,000 however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline. Benefits offered may include health care, dental, vision, life insurance; 401(k); education assistance; paid time off including PTO, holidays, and any other paid leave required by law.
